Alen Poyastro joined Ormet in 2005 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2025.

With more than two decades of experience in international raw-materials trading, he is a seasoned commodity professional leading Ormet’s global business development activities.

Throughout his career, Alen has played a key role in expanding the company’s sourcing footprint, building long-term strategic partnerships, and driving expansion in Türkiye as well as growth initiatives across multiple international markets.

He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University and a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from Boğaziçi University.
